Wildfire Crops

Wildfires are devasting occurrences often exacerbated by dry conditions in the summer. When a wildfire erupts, stopping it can be difficult, and it spreads quickly. People will risk their lives to try to save their loved ones, their homes, and their most prized possessions.

On a broader scale, wildfires can have a deep economic impact if they burn crops necessary for upcoming harvests. Sadly, when this happens, farmers can lose everything. They will do what they can to ensure their crops survive.

ABC News shared the shocking footage on Instagram with the caption, “A farmer rushed to save crops by creating a firebreak as wildfires burned in northern Idaho in late July.”
