Cats can be hilarious when they’re not uptight and judgmental. When Ian McKee spotted his neighbor’s cat, he decided to record it. It was right about that time that the one brain cell the cat had borrowed for the day went on sabbatical. The cat, standing atop a picnic table, saw a leaf. He tried to pounce, but the leaf alluded his grasp. The cat began to chase its tail, and thus, the saga began…

The leaf was stuck on the cat’s tail. Every move to capture it was futile. The cat spun and spun, chasing the elusive leaf with no success. Around and around, it went, faster and faster. It spun so many times we lost count. And then it stopped, but its body, minus that brain cell, kept spinning.
The cat got too close to the table’s edge during the wild revolutions. As it stopped and tried to regain its balance, it toppled right over the edge! It might have landed on its feet, but the undignified flop was unexpected.
The expressions on the cat’s face were too quick to capture, but we’ll do our best to describe them. When it landed, it gave a slight shake of the head. We could almost hear it thinking, “WTF just happened?” Then, it glances around on all sides, checking if anyone caught the embarrassing moment. When the cat looked in Ian’s direction, it refused to make eye contact. It seemed to be projecting, “You didn’t see ANYTHING! NOTHING!”
The leaf is still there, so the cat may have to chase its tail again on the ground. Maybe the brain cell will return shortly.
