We are gathered here today to celebrate the Internet’s obsession with Neil the Seal. Neil the Seal, an elephant seal living in Tasmania, is a fella with a purpose. We couldn’t be more excited to be along for the ride.
Chances are, you’ve witnessed a clip or two of Neil the Seal in action. He’s stubborn and independent, making his way around Tasmania with the ease of a sassy tourist.
NPR did a quick podcast covering this seal, noting that the elephant seal is “a scallywag, a silly little guy, and he enjoys breaking and entering into lawns that are not his.”
I think we can all appreciate Neil’s big dreams, despite his lawbreaking tendencies.

Long story short, Neil the Seal is certainly trouble. However, his antics keep us all entertained, and for that, we should be grateful!
