He started with some basic moves resembling jumping jacks.

Arms raised over his head, then he did a few jumping jacks before the big challenge. He crouched down and jumped into a back flip. He thought he won.

The girl had a different opinion. Not to be outdone, the girl wound up and prepared to match his move. Although she didn’t do a complete backflip, she did do a backwards handstand flip. One of the other dancers ran up to spot her quickly, but she required no assistance.

Alley-oop! The man who was there to spot for her fell over on his back in mock disbelief. Once her flip was done, she ran back into the crowd to her parents. But the dancer, knowing he had been beaten, followed her to bring her back into the center.

The video ended, but we think there may have been an encore performance and a bow. The small girl bravely stepped forward and danced her heart out in front of a huge crowd. What an amazing memory for her.
Buskers and street performers in New York City appreciate the crowds they draw. These dancers must have been putting on a good show because they had a large crowd. Kudos to the brave young lady for accepting the challenge. She wowed the crowd with her natural talent and her competitive spirit.
Please share if you were applauding this youngster in her challenge.
