Lake effect storms hit parts of the country this week, piling snow across the Great Lakes region. As of Monday afternoon, Barnes Corners, New York, had 65 inches, and Saybrook, Ohio, had 56 inches. Seven states in between saw similar numbers.

Orchard Park, New York—home of the Bills—was also in the path of the storms. And on Sunday evening, before the Bills and 49ers game kicked off, Highmark Stadium was already filled with nearly 23 inches of snow. That didn’t stop fans from cheering for their team.
Buffalo Bills Fans Broke Out Their Snowsuits For The 49ers Game
A video shared on X by ABC shows ticket holders decked out in snowsuits and trekking through snow drifts to reach their seats. As they watched the plays, fans tossed snow in the air and enjoyed the elements.
The snow continued throughout the Bills game. According to Sportingnews.com, meteorologists estimated that about 3 to 4 inches accumulated each hour.

The snow ended up giving the Bills the upper hand on their Californian rivals. The home team was unphased by the weather and won 35-10.
The snow continues to fall on the region tonight, with many cities from New York to Ohio under warnings. However, most of the serious weather should end by morning.
