When you marry someone, you become a part of their family — four-legged members and all! So, even though this man got a “yes” from his girlfriend, he knew their wedding could only move forward on one condition. He’d also have to get permission from his fiancé’s sweet little dog, Daisy! This incredible boyfriend came up with the most creative way to “propose” to the pup.

First, the hopeful groom-to-be got down on one knee in front of the precious Cavalier King Charles spaniel. Then, he showed the pooch the present he’d brought her. It was a plushy version of a jewelry box with a toy engagement ring inside! As soon as he opened the box to propose to the pup, she got very excited. Immediately, Daisy began to chew on her new gift. That was her way of saying, “Yes!”

Once this man got his answer, he gently placed the oversized plushy engagement ring on the dog’s paw. However, Daisy didn’t seem to want to wear it. What she really wanted was to keep chewing on it! Mom caught the most adorable footage of herself holding the toy ring while wearing her own real one.

This video has already received over seven million views on social media! Commenters loved that this wholesome fiancé proposed to his partner’s pup.

“The clearest ‘yes’ to a paw-posal we’ve ever seen,” wrote Brilliant Earth, a jewelry brand.

Another person added, “She better be your flower girl at the wedding.”

Daisy is clearly a very big part of this bride-to-be’s life, so it must have meant the world to the woman that her fiancé would propose to the pup. In another beautiful video, the couple revealed that they decided to include the fluffy pooch in their engagement photoshoot. These might be some of the cutest engagement pictures ever!

We can’t wait to see how this couple includes the dog on their wedding day.
