NFL Player Is Thoroughly Impressed By Prince Williams Throwing Arm

We sometimes wonder if there is anything Prince William can’t do. The heir to the English throne is an excellent husband and father, a seemingly genuine and kind person, and apparently a pretty good athlete. People reported that the Prince of Wales attended an engagement with the NFL Foundation UK on October 15 and impressed everyone there.

It Seems Prince William’s Got A Pretty Good Arm

If he didn’t have to be bogged down with royal duties, some think William could have a football career.

Former Welsh rugby player Louis Rees-Zammit told People William impressed him.

“It was great. It was a lot better than mine,” he said of the prince’s throw.

Rees-Zammit added, “Thankfully in my position, I just have to run and catch. He could definitely be a quarterback one day!”

It’s no secret William loves sports and encourages his children George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6, to play. Phoebe Schecter, GB Women’s Flag Football, told People William’s teaching his kids something new.

“He’s going to try and teach his kids now,” she said. “We got him an American football to bring home. And we talked a lot about multi-sports and how good that is. He was a multi-sport athlete growing up, but said he wasn’t very good.”

Schecter said young People love William and did a great job interacting with them.

“When we surprised them and said he was coming, they were in shock, in disbelief,” she said. “I wish I’d had a camera. And then, when he engaged with them, he threw some footballs with the young girls. He was terrific with them. High fives all around, great energy, and on the field they were in complete shock he was playing the sport with them. One little boy came to hand him the ball and just stared at him in admiration!”
