Looking for a little wisdom or maybe just a few laughs? They’ve got a stand for that. And it’s run by the hilarious group of self-proclaimed “old coots” who love sharing their perspective and, frankly, questionable advice.

The group of senior citizens has been meeting for years now at Tony Caputo’s Market & Deli. They chat, joke, and, as one member put it, “solve the problems of the world.”

The old-timers got such a kick out of their banter together that they figured others might, too. So they decided to set up a table at their local farmer’s market with a sign that reads, “Old Coots Giving Advice. It’s probably bad advice, but it’s free.”

While it started as a joke, they were surprised to see people lining up, eagerly waiting with questions about love, life, and even lawn care.

One man looking for gardening advice said, “These patches keep showing up on my lawn.” Their answer? “Get a new house!”

Another woman asked about the secret to happiness. “Put your money in Bitcoins,” one senior responded.

But not all their advice is bad – in fact, it’s pretty sweet! A new mom asked how to “not mess up her kid’s life.”

“You’re going to mess him up a little bit, and that’s how they grow,” one of the older men wisely stated. Another woman asked if you should stay with a cheating partner. She got a resounding “no!”

They say with age comes wisdom… but it also brings a killer sense of humor! Would you take your questions to their table if you had the chance? For us, the answer is definitely yes.
