Olympic gold medalist Hezly Rivera is making headlines again. Not only is the gymnast well known for her gymnastics skills on the mat, but she is now sharing them on the field, as well. This athlete showed off her skills as she joined the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees on the baseball field. Watch as Hezly Rivera threw the first pitch strike at Globe Life Field.

The 16-year-old was the youngest member of the 2024 USA’s women’s gymnastics team, and she’s continuing to impress people with her skills. As she prepared to throw the first pitch at the game, she took the opportunity to strut her stuff.

MLB shared a clip of the pith on its X account. Fans watched as Hezly Rivera did a front flip before seamlessly throwing the first pitch into the catcher’s hand. With incredible form in her gymnastics and pitch, the crowd went wild.

The Texas Rangers also shared photos and videos of this special moment on their Instagram. They captioned it “A perfect 10 for Olympic gold medalist, @hezrivera!” It is clear that this Olympic-medalist impressed fans and pro baseball stars alike.

When Hezly Rivera is not busy making headlines by throwing the first pitch at baseball games, this Olympian is helping the women’s gymnastics team qualify for the Paris Olympics. She wore her gold medal with honor at the game. Hezly won that medal alongside her teammates Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey.
