Owner Hilariously “Pranks” Cat With Paper Cutout & The Results Are Priceless

A paper cutout of a cat in the window.

What would you do if there was a stranger peering right into your home? Well, this cat clearly had some strong feelings about seeing another feline looking in through the window — but that’s because she had no way of knowing it was just a paper cutout! This kitty’s owner thought it would be hilarious to put a picture of a cat on the other side of the glass to see what their pet would do. The animal’s reaction did not disappoint!

In a hysterical video on social media, the pet parent placed a paper cutout of an orange cat just above the window frame. Only the top half of the kitten’s face was visible, so it looked like the stranger was trying to sneak a peek inside. It must have appeared pretty real to the owner’s actual cat, because she appeared out of nowhere to defend her home. She bravely launched herself at the intruder, ready to do battle!

Unfortunately, not only did this cat not realize that her foe was just a paper cutout, but she also failed to factor in the glass between them. She hit the window with full force, making a hilarious “thud” sound as she bounced off of it. Six million people have watched this hilarious video, and commenters thought that the prank was way too funny!

“It’s a good thing she didn’t overreact,” joked one user.

Another added, “I cannot with that THUNK.”

This wouldn’t be the cat’s last scuffle with this paper cutout.

You would think that after hitting the window, this kitty would have learned her lesson. However, the infuriated cat was still pretty determined to get her paws on that paper cutout! Her owner caught another clip of the pet scratching at the window, trying to attack the other animal.

We have to hand it to this cat owner — the paper cutout was a pretty excellent prank. However, they better remove it soon if they want their window to remain intact!
