Paralympics Athlete Reminds Fans That The “Party” Doesn’t End This Weekend, “We Ride Again”

Paralympics

The 2024 Olympic Games have been an incredible display of athleticism, sportsmanship, and grace. They are coming to an end this weekend, and many of us will miss tuning in to watch our favorites compete. But just because the closing ceremonies are looming, doesn’t mean the fun has to stop.

Chuck Aoki, an American Paralympian and three-time medalist in wheelchair rugby, loves the Olympic games and the excitement surrounding them. But he explained in a thought-provoking Instagram post that being a Paralympian during the Olympics is “wild.”

He called the Olympics a giant party with all your friends having a great time.

“And in the back of your mind, (you) remember, ‘Well, I’ve got my party in two weeks. I hope everyone remembers,” he said. “I hope everyone at this party knows that they’re invited to my party, and if they had a good time at this party, they’re gonna have a good time at my party too.'”

Chuck Invited Us All To His Party

He didn’t mince words and said, “Consider this your official invitation. And make sure you send this to someone because invitations can get lost in the mail sometimes.”

Plenty of people wrote they would be tuning in, “WE WILL BE COMING TO YOUR PARTY, CHUCK.”

Someone suggested, “They should be highlighting it with every commercial break. And send Snoop back!”

“How do we watch in the US? I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Paralympics on tv here,” a follower asked.

Chuck answered this question with a follow-up video and said we need to tune into Peacock.

“Peacock is like your Paralympics home,” he said. Adding it’s a “Paralympics Peacock Party.”

The Paralympics begin in Paris on August 29 and will continue until September 2. With more than 4,000 athletes competing in 22 different sports, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Chuck, thanks for inviting us. We’ll be there!
