Firefighters in Los Angeles continue to do everything they can to extinguish the ongoing wildfires in California. Meanwhile, folks from all walks of life are finding their own ways to help. This includes celebrities like Paris Hilton who are focusing on pets who managed to escape the fires. As any fan of Hilton knows, she has a soft spot for animals — she has multiple dogs of her own.

To help, Hilton volunteered at Pasadena Humane, a popular animal shelter in Pasadena. Ever since the wildfires began, the shelter has been overwhelmed by the amount of pets in need of their help. Some pets have been separated from their owners while others have been surrendered by those who lost everything. In the video below, Hilton shines a light on the animals in need of our care.
“This beautiful cat was found without a collar in Altadena and has been in the shelter for the last four days,” Hilton writes in the caption of her post. “Please share with anyone you know from the Altadena area so we can reconnect this baby with his owner! His animal ID is A519218.”

But Hilton’s help goes beyond the day she volunteered. Her nonprofit, 11:11 Media Impact, also made a donation to the shelter. Contributions like this are especially needed during a crisis like this one.
“Every donation makes a difference in providing emergency relief, housing, and supplies,” Hilton’s post continues. “If you’re able to donate or volunteer, the Pasadena Humane Society is an incredible charity to support! You can contribute directly to them or via my emergency fund at the link in bio.”
