Pat Sajak Will Return To The Stage With A Good Friend

Good friends from serving in the U.S. Army, Pat Sajak and Joe Moore will return to Hawaii to act alongside his buddy.

Gregory D. Dunn, President and CEO of Hawaii Theatre Center, told People, “They’ve done six shows together over the years, and over that time, Pat has donated very generously his time and talents to raise money to support the nonprofit venue,” he said. “We don’t receive any state or city or federal funding to operate the venue, which is 102 years old. So it’s a very expensive facility to maintain. Part of Pat’s philanthropy, he very generously donates his time and talents to raise money to help support the theater.”

According to the Hawaii Theatre, Pat Sajak and Joe Moore will return to the stage together 24 years after starring together in the Odd Couple.

“The dynamic duo says this play “will likely be our final time on stage together.” Moore plays Lt. Columbo, a disheveled and seemingly bumbling detective who’s investigating Sajak’s brilliant psychiatrist Dr. Roy Flemming, who’s carried out an ingenious plan to murder his wife, and established a perfect alibi. Columbo and the doctor engage in a cat and mouse duel of wits culminating in a surprising climax. Supporting cast includes Bryce Moore, Therese Olival, Amy K. Sullivan and Aiko Chinen, with Rob Duval directing.”

The show will run from July 31 to August 10. You can purchase tickets here.
