Living in Washington, you are bound to spot a number of adorable wildlife. Deer, for example, are super common here. That said, nothing could have prepared this Washington resident for what they would spot outside in their very own backyard. At first, there wasn’t anything out of the ordinary: two deer were roaming the area. But those deer soon took an interest in the human’s cat.

If you know anything about animals, you likely know that deer and cats are necessarily known for being the best of friends. This isn’t to say they never get along… they just aren’t common companions. Sure, one of the deer could not be less interested in Pebbles — after a few sniffs, he is out of there. But the other deer quickly grows fond of the cat. So, this deer expresses their fondness by giving Pebbles a cute little grooming session.
