Christmas cards are a regular Holiday traditions in many homes. Maybe you grew up having to take the annual family photo and licking stamps alongside your siblings. Some families, however, decide to do things a little differently. We’ve told you before about the family that opted to replace the traditional Christmas card with a goofy fam dance routine, and then there was the family who went viral, for swapping a Christmas card for a 2016-in-review music video. But have you heard about the guy who takes elaborate photos of his dog for his Christmas card?

British dad and photographer Peter Thorpe has been creating Christmas cards around his dog for 25 years. From 1990 to 2002, he photographed his rescue terrier, Paddy. But since then he’s photographed Raggle, also a rescued terrier.
The photos he takes aren’t just cute… they’re phenomenal quality! And he creates the photo-shoots himself. “The fun for me,” explains Peter, “has been choosing to continue to create these traditionally rather than with Photoshop, by making my own sets, props and using a fair bit of food bribery!”
Check out some of Peter’s photos of Raggle below!
