Plastic Skeleton Hitches A Ride On Sanitation Truck… Does Silly “Trick” When Passing Cars Beep

Images show a plastic skeleton mounted on a truck that does a trick when people beep at it.

The guys who empty porta-potties have a really crappy job. One crew mounted a plastic skeleton on the back of their pumping truck to keep their spirits up. Sitting on the rear deck of the tanker truck, the little fellow has a sign reading, “Beep for a TREAT!” When people honk at the truck, they get a special treat.

Passing drivers honking at the sanitation truck get a happy little surprise. The plastic skeleton is hooked up to a water source and a sound sensor. The sensor works when it hears the beep of a horn, causing the little fellow to shoot a stream of water from his… well… you get the idea. When honking, you might not want to be too close to the tanker truck. We don’t know where that water source comes from.

The truck belongs to Service Sanitation. They operate in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, so we aren’t sure where this truck is located. The company delivers porta-potties, sinks, and trailers. The company motto is “Determined to Deliver,” and that certainly fits with their plastic skeleton, which delivers laughs to passing motorists.

People have been using plastic skeletons to decorate all year round. They were a traditional mainstay for Halloween. Then came the 12-foot-tall version. People leave the big guys up and change their attire to mark the changing seasons. One guy planned a St. Patrick’s Day party for his entire skeleton crew. When the wife kicked him out of the garage, he took the party on the road.

Your neighborhood probably has a couple of giant plastic skeletons that might be the protectors of the subdivision. They look intimidating until somebody dresses them up like Easter bunnies.
