But it’s not just his fellow musicians who can attest to his character. Over the years, Post Malone has proven to be a selfless person with total strangers. Most recently, this was proven with Post Malone’s interaction with a bartender. The moment took place at The Railyard in Houston, Texas. It was Christmas Eve, and Post Malone was set to perform with Beyoncé during the Houston Texans’ Christmas Day game the next day.
As excited as Post Malone and fellow artist Shaboozey likely were to hang out at this bar, the bartender was less enthusiastic. She’s been working two jobs in order to take care of herself and her little girl. So, while working on Christmas Eve was necessary, she was heartbroken over being apart from her daughter. But things quickly turned around as soon as Post Malone walked through the door.
“I told all my regulars not to be weird and bug him, as it’s a neighborhood dive bar, and I’m sure he picked a place like that to feel a sense of normalcy,” Renee later shared.
Post Malone Changes the Life of This Hardworking Bartender With a Single Tip
The night was full of drinks and laughter, with patrons insisting they pay for the artists’ drinks. But at the end of the night, Post Malone insisted he pay at least a little. That way he could tip Renee. This generous gesture alone was sweet, but nothing could have prepared Renee for just how much money she’d get: $20,000.
“I immediately broke down crying,” Renee shares. “It was a very emotional night already being away from home, being swamped behind the bar, trying to process that they were even there and then the tip on top. Things have been extremely difficult, and this was truly a blessing that I can’t fully put into words.”
This isn’t the first time Post Malone has shown his fans an incredible amount of generosity — and it certainly won’t be the last!
