Is there anything more precious than an animal who loves the snow? Like us humans, animals also can’t get enough of this magical, white fluff. The adorable proof can be found in countless social media posts. Some of our favorites over the years include this viral video of zoo pandas and a small kitty admiring snow for the first time as it falls to the ground.

As much as we adore those videos, we may have a new favorite. This one comes from the Saint Louis Zoo. After a recent snow, their animals found themselves in a bit of a winter wonderland. So, to help one of their baby elephants celebrate, they made him his very own snowman! The super tiny snowman was placed inside his enclosure. See how baby Jet responded to this delightful surprise in the video below!
@stlzoo Keepers brought the snow day inside for baby elephant Jet this week by creating him his own little snowman ☃️🥹 Jet will make his public debut in the outside habitats when he is old enough and the weather allows.

Social Media Can’t Get Enough of This Baby Elephant’s First Encounter With Snow in the Form of a Tiny Snowman!
When Jet first walks into the enclosure, he’s more fascinated by some greenery on the floor. But soon enough, he realizes there’s something new here… and it’s the perfect material to destroy! Looks like Jet is going to need some more snow ASAP. Also, yes, it does seem that the snowman was given elephant-like ears. How cute is that!?
I [love] how mom let him have his moment with the snowman,” someone points out in the comment section of the video, with another adding, “Ahhh his spikey little hair!”
