This couple didn’t know how their golden retriever would feel about them getting a new puppy, but all their worries melted away when they saw the two pooches interact for the first time. Apparently, they became best friends from the very moment they laid eyes on each other! Their owners shared some adorable footage on social media highlighting their sweetest interactions together so far. These siblings are too cute for words!

In the video, the owners captured the golden retriever, Pacha, and the new puppy cuddling on multiple occasions. These two were also spotted playing, sharing snacks (something the older dog doesn’t normally do), and getting into mischief together.
“Moments that made us realize getting a second dog was the best decision ever,” the dog owners wrote over the footage.
They added in their caption, “We weren’t sure how long it would take for Pacha to adjust to having another dog at home, but we definitely weren’t expecting them to become inseparable after the first day.”
These adorable golden siblings are making other dog owners jealous.

In another video, the couple shared a clip from the first day that they brought Bucket, the new puppy, home to meet their golden retriever. Dad was carrying the little one, and Pacha immediately stood up on her back legs to sniff the newcomer. Within seconds, the older dog was wagging her tail and nuzzling the pup with her nose.
It was clear that the golden retriever was very protective of the new puppy from the start. As soon as Bucket began exploring her environment, Pacha was right on her heels, looking out for her. It’s wonderful that this tiny pup has a big sister to show her the ropes!
