Not all animals love water, so these dog owners weren’t entirely sure how their puppy’s first swim would go over. However, since this tiny pooch is an English Lab, they had a hunch that their trip to the beach wouldn’t be too poorly received. They were correct! Breeders from The Happiest Labrador captured the most adorable footage of their puppy, Monday, taking her first swim ever.

In the clip, it didn’t take long at all for this dog to get in the water. Monday seemed very excited to embark on a new adventure, and she willingly plunged into the unknown. Not only did this puppy quickly get the hang of things during her first swim, but she also really enjoyed it! You could tell she was having the time of her life as she splashed around near the shore.
Obviously, Monday’s owners kept a close eye on the little dog as she explored this brand new world. She didn’t seem to mind the constant supervision, though. In fact, she followed her humans around in the water the entire time, wanting to share this fabulous experience with her loved ones.
“At even a young age, Monday gets such a kick out of the water,” wrote The Happiest Labrador in their Instagram caption. “She just hopped right in on her VERY first time! She mostly wants to be around all of us. And we were in the water. So automatically that’s where a Labrador wants to be.”
All in all, Monday’s family was extremely proud of how she handled herself at the beach that day.
“She was so brave,” they wrote over the footage of the tiny pooch in the water.
