Prince William will be the king of England someday, and at 42 years old, he’s continuing to assert his independence. A source close to the royal family claims Prince William made a surprising move regarding legal representation. The father of three reportedly ended his relationship with the lawyers his father, King Charles, employs and hired a separate legal time. Interestingly, they are reportedly the same lawyers who represented Princess Diana in his parent’s divorce.

Per People, a source told Daily Mail, “William wanted to strike out on his own. He did not want to continue using his father’s lawyers. It’s as simple as that. He wants to be his own man.”
Prince William Intends To Modernize The Royal Family
He’ll certainly keep with the family’s long-standing traditions, but Prince William intends to make changes that fit the needs of a modern royal family.
He told the BBC in November of 2024, “I can only describe what I’m trying to do, and that’s I’m trying to do it differently and I’m trying to do it for my generation. And to give you more an understanding around it, I’m doing it with maybe a smaller ‘R’ in the royal, if you like, that’s maybe a better way of saying it.”
When Prince William and Kate Middleton shared their holiday cards on Instagram in 2024, many noticed how happy and relaxed the family looked, and they liked what they saw.
A follower wrote, “That movement of Katherine caressing Charlotte’s hair is probably universal for all loving mothers with their daughters — as well as Charlotte’s reaction as well — significant given the pain she must have went through this year with her mother being ill.”
This person agreed, “God Bless your Beautiful Family and Congratulations on all that you give to one another in Love and Support of your Country and your Wonderful Family. You are an Amazing Couple and We send you Love and Best Wishes from our Family the United States of America.”
