Prince William Speaks Out About Wife’s Cancer
Good Morning America shared that as Prince William greeted Kate’s well-wishers and spoke out about the current stage of her cancer journey. He shared that while completing chemotherapy was indeed good news, “There is still a long way to go.”
However, the Prince was not focusing on the negatives. He also made sure to thank those who had gathered for their support of him and his wife. He said, “Thank you very much” and let them know their well wishes were “very much appreciated.”
While Kate was not at this public event, she mentioned in her video that she was “looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months” when she could.
Prince William and Princess Kate’s Video On Her Cancer
Kate and William shared a lovely family video of the two of them with their three children enjoying a summer day. Throughout the video, Princess Kate shares her and Prince William’s experiences during her cancer journey.
She shares how incredibly grateful she is and “what a relief it is to have finally completed my [her] chemotherapy treatment.” She continues to share how the “last nine months have been incredibly tough” for her family as they had to “find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
Princess Kate also shared how this cancer journey helped her and William. She stated, “The time above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life.”From there, she shares her current focus.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I finished chemotherapy, My path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes.” Best wishes to Princess Kate and Prince William and their family.
