Princess Kate & Prince William Send Prince Harry Sweet Birthday Wishes

Prince William Harry

It may be hard to believe, but Prince Harry, the cute little red-headed boy with freckles and a mischievous grin, turned 40 years old on September 15. And while he may have been anxious about turning 30, the Duke of Sussex told the BBC in a statement that this birthday made him “excited.”

“Whatever the age, my mission is to continue showing up and doing good in the world,” Harry said.

He added that bringing a father to Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3 changed him in the best way.

“Becoming a father of two incredibly kind and funny kids has given me a fresh perspective on life, as well as sharpening my focus in all my work,” Harry told the BBC. “Being a dad is one of life’s greatest joys and has only made me more driven and more committed to making this world a better place.”

Prince William, Princess Kate, & Many Others Celebrated Harry’s Birthday

Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, famously distanced themselves from the Royal family and gave up their duties in 2020. Even though this seemed to have caused a strain on Harry’s relationship with his brother, Prince William, and father, King Charles, the family shared birthday greetings.

The Royal Family shared on their official Instagram, “Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!”

William and Kate shared the Royal Family’s post on X along with the caption, “Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!”

The Invictus Games Foundation also shared a shout-out to its founder on X.

“Happy 40th Birthday to our Founding Patron, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, from all of us in the Invictus Community,” it reads.

Scotty’s L Soldiers also shared a sweet message. “Happy 40th Birthday to our Global Ambassador, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex! Your passion for our mission & the genuine care you show our members make such a positive difference in the lives of bereaved military children. From all of us at Scotty’s, have a wonderful day.”

It seems everyone could put their differences aside to send well wishes and recognize Harry for all the good he has done in his 40 years on Earth.
