The Royals Are Excited For The Paralympic Games

Both Prince William and Princess Kate shared their support of Team Great Britain on social media.

The couple posted on X, “Looking forward to another few weeks of incredible sport! Wishing the very best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and those competing at #Paris2024.” The message was signed with their first initials, “W & C.”

Prince Edward chose the Royal Family’s official Instagram and X pages to share his excitement for the games.

“To all members of the @ParalympicsGB team heading for Paris, whether athletes, officials or staff, I want to wish you the very best of luck at the Paralympic Games,” he wrote.

The future King and Queen of England love sports events and can often be seen cheering on their teams. Kate’s been spotted at Wimbledon over the years and likes to watch her children play, too.

When the Summer Olympic Games wrapped in Paris, William and Kate shared a video message of congratulations and gratitude to TeamGB.

“From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB,” Kate said. “Well done on all you’ve achieved, you’ve been an inspiration to us all,” her husband added.

During the Paris Games, 327 athletes from Great Britain competed and won a total of 63 medals. Having Royal fans makes the wins that much sweeter.
