Princess Kate’s “Unscripted” Comments About Her “Competitive” Side Resurface And Go Viral

Princess Kate Competitive

A newly resurfaced video of Princess Kate proves the royals are just like any other married couple, and they’re also hilariously competitive. Newsweek reported that Kate had discussed a moment at her child’s school field day celebration when things got a hair competition. She and William share three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Price Louis, 6.

In a TikTok clip uploaded by @ctheriness, Kate explains that she and William were under the impression that the parents’ race had been canceled because it had become too cutthroat. However, upon learning that the event would take place on field day, Kate knew what she had to do.

“Actually, we were told categorically there was no parents’ race,” she said. “But then they called at the last minute, ‘parents race!’ and, maybe the competitive side in both of us was like, ‘We have to take part in this!'”

Princess Kate Is No Quitter

So what did Kate do? Newsweek further shared that she did what any other mom with a competitive spirit would. She threw off her shoes and ran in bare feet. She didn’t place highly in the race, but her husband reportedly had an impressive showing and came in second.

Of course, the video went viral, and people went crazy for the Royals.

The fact that Kate was just being herself was endearing to many.

As this person wrote, “The way she said ‘minute’… that’s old Catherine coming out. Love it!”

Many agreed. Like this person, “Kate unscripted 🥰love this”

So did this one, “i LOVE HER…I COULD LISTEN TO CATHERINE FOR HOURS..”

Of course, there were prayers for Kate’s continued healing, “Catherine Princess Wales. She’s so adorable. I hope she’s healing with her family and that she [will] be able to get back to work. Prayers are up for full recovery to a fantastic woman.”
