Skimboarder Clouds

A professional skimboarder recorded a routine on the mirror waters of Salar De Uyuni, and it truly looks like he’s riding on clouds.

Adrien Raza visited the iconic spot in southwest Bolivia recently. The Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat, which is an area of land covered in salt crust. When it rains, water collects over the crust and turns into brine. Because of that and the fact that the water is extremely still, a water-filled Salar de Uyuni becomes a beautiful water mirror.

Tourists travel to Salar de Uyuni to witness the tranquil scene created when the clouds reflect on the water. The effect looks otherwordly or as if you’re walking in the sky, which made it an ideal spot for Adrien’s routine.

In a video, the skimboarder rides the still water, spinning in circles, jumping, and running. With the vivid blue sky and puffy white clouds so perfectly mirrored, it looks as if he is skimming mid-air. Watching him is absolutely mesmerizing.

“How is this place real?” a commenter asked.

“Bro found the location of heaven,” someone said.

“This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” another person shared.

“Why is this so peaceful?” someone asked.

A Second Video Shows An Even More Calming View Of The Skimboarder On Clouds

Another video of Adrien skimboarding on clouds shows a more detailed view of the salt flats mirroring the day and dusk sky.

“Wow man just watching you glide across these landscapes and waterscapes is so calming,” someone commented.

“One of the most epic and beautiful footage I have ever seen..pure perfection!” a fan wrote, and we have to agree with them.
