You can see all kinds of amazing animals on a safari, but not without your glasses. One woman learned this lesson the hard way when she brought her sunglasses on a wildlife tour instead of her prescription eyewear! This could have been a waste of a day, but Tanya Hennessy had a better idea. She turned her situation into a hilarious skit on social media!

In her video, Tanya excitedly pointed out “animals” to her guide, Jeff. However, it turns out that she couldn’t properly identify anything on this safari without her glasses. Jeff had to inform her, in increasingly unimpressed tones, these “animals” were actually rocks. After a couple of these fails, though, there was a plot twist!
“Is that a giraffe?” Tanya asked.
“That’s a rock,” said Jeff.
“That’s a rhino!” Tanya exclaimed.
“It’s a rock,” Jeff replied.
After being deceived by her own eyes so many times while trying to see without her glasses, Tanya decided to avoid further disappointment on the safari. The next time she saw some figures in the distance, she immediately assumed they were more rocks. However, she was mistaken once again!
“It’s not a rock, it’s two lions,” Jeff informed her.
Tanya shared some footage of the two animals, who were, indeed, a pair of lions lazing around on the ground. She and Jeff had a hearty laugh over the misidentification!
Commenters loved this silly video, especially Jeff’s deadpan delivery.
“Jeff is the GOAT,” one person wrote.
Another added, “Jeff is bringing main character energy.”
A third person jokingly suggested that this safari guide could have actually saved himself some trouble by taking advantage of the fact that Tanya was without her glasses.
“Honestly though, Jeff really just needed to find a couple more rocks and drive in a big, wonky circle and you would have had the BEST safari of your life,” they said.
While this would have been funny, we’re sure our beloved Jeff would never do something so deceitful!
