There’s exciting news for Randy Travis and his fans. A new biopic called Forever and Ever, Amen is in the works. Clay Walker announced the news alongside Randy at the Grand Ole Opry on March 5, and the legendary singer positively beamed. Randy even sang Amen after a chorus of Forever and Ever, Amen. Randy, who suffered a stroke and now has aphasia, doesn’t perform anymore, but it’s easy to see his heart is still in his music. The Grand Ole Opry shared a video of the announcement on Instagram alongside a caption, “LIVE from the @Opry stage last night, Randy Travis was thrilled to announce a brand-new biopic entitled ‘Forever and Ever, Amen!’ The biopic will tell the inspiring story of Randy’s life, and @ClayWalker will be featured in the film while serving as Executive Producer alongside Randy and Mary.”
