Adopting any pet is a huge responsibility. But when a woman in the UK chose to take in a rescue dog from Ukraine, she knew that doing so would require an extra amount of care and patience. Rescue Dog From Ukraine and Her Own Emotional Support Dog Go Viral
As Ditta continues to find safety and joy in her new life, she’s actually helping other pets in Ukraine, too. In 2023, she inspired her owners to start a dog boutique called Ditta & Co. “Them waging their tails and smacking together like high fives for tails. It’s amazing to see her open up. Thank you for giving them both a loving home,” a commentor writes, with another adding, “I cannot even imagine the trauma she endured. It is so good to know she is ok, she is safe, she is loved, and she won’t ever know terror like that again.”
