Life is too short to wait to do what makes you happy.

Robbie and Priscilla couldn’t agree more! The two of them love traveling, which they can do frequently because they own a marketing company and can work anywhere with Internet access. That’s why they decided to buy an old school bus and transform it into the home of their dreams in 2017.

They had their work cut out for them, but they were more than up for the challenge!
“We love tiny homes and admire the lifestyle of those who live in them, so we thought, ‘Why not build one on wheels?'” they told Bored Panda. “We were our happiest when traveling, when exploring new places, when trying new foods, when immersing ourselves in new cultures. We thrive off of experiencing new things and going on adventures.”

The couple spent the next year and a half transforming the vehicle into their own slice of paradise! Of course, they ran into issues nearly every step along the way.

Now that they’re finished, they couldn’t be happier! After all, their new space is delightfully cozy!

While small, the interior still feels roomy. It has a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, propane heater, wood-burning stove, and air-conditioning!

The exterior got a makeover as well, complete with solar panels!
“We left our home in Orlando, Florida, on March 21, 2019, and headed up the East Coast,” Robbie and Priscilla added. “We were on the road for almost 10 months and traveled all the way up to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We visited 137 different cities on that trip without having an itinerary. We just went with the flow.”

One of the reasons they converted the bus in the first place was so they wouldn’t have to leave their cat, Mr. Beebles, behind while they traveled. He wasn’t a fan of their ride at first, but he quickly grew accustomed to the gorgeous views.

He’s even stepped into the role of copilot!

While COVID-19 has thrown a wrench in their travel plans for the time being, they can’t wait to explore the rest of the U.S. and Canada. In the meantime, Robbie and Priscilla will be enjoying the fruits of their labor. We only have one question: When can we move in?
To see more of their adventures, you can find the couple on Instagram. Don’t forget to share this story with other travelers who would adore this home on wheels.
