Roommate Creates Stunning Rendering Of Friend’s Late Dog Using Stained Glass

One artist decided to use her talents to make a beautiful stained glass memorial for her roommate’s deceased dog, and the results will have you in tears! What’s especially impressive about this beautiful dog portrait is that Celina hasn’t actually been working with stained glass for very long. In fact, she’d only created two previous projects before attempting this one.

“I recently took up stained glass art as a hobby,” the woman wrote at the beginning of her slideshow. “For my third project, I made a memorial portrait of my roommate’s dog, Castiel.”

In her social media post, Celina shared the reference photo that she used to create her stained glass masterpiece. It was definitely the perfect image to work from, since it showcased the pooch’s beautiful eyes.

Next, the artist included a picture of her sketch, which divided the dog’s face into numbered shapes. It’s amazing to see how Celina translated a three-dimensional photo into a two-dimensional drawing!
