Believe it or not, celebrities are just like us. They go through the highs and lows of life, but in a very different way. They often have to live that out in the public eye whether they like it or not. While celebrities choose a life in the spotlight, that doesn’t mean every detail of their kids’ lives will be available for public consumption.

Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, have been famously private about their four children, James, 9,  Inez, 7,  Betty, 4, and baby Olin, born in February 2023. The three older children are girls, and we just recently learned baby four’s name, but the baby’s gender remained a mystery until now. During a touching exchange with another dad, Ryan revealed his fourth child is a boy.

John Bell is a father from England whose late son, Jake, loved Deadpool. Ryan posted a video of his chat with John about fatherhood. When asked about Jake, John told Ryan, “Where do I start? He was just so funny, so comical — and we did everything together. He was my firstborn son. He was just absolutely everything to me.”

John added that after Jake’s mental health struggle and ultimate death, he was left in a dark place.

“I was planning my own death and talking myself into staying because my family needs me, my kids need me,” he said. “What I do now keeps me alive daily because I’ve made my peace with death. I’m gonna be reunited with him at some point, but it damn right ain’t now.”

Ryan Made A Shocking Revelation.

Ryan thanked the father for sharing his story and confirmed that he is a father to a son.

“I want to share with you that I, too, have a son,” he said, “and that if … boy, John, if I love him one-tenth as much as you love Jake, I feel like I’ve done a pretty damn good job.”
