Next week, the winner of America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League will be announced. That made this week’s performances from the remaining 10 contestants all-the-more important. To ensure they delivered the best performance possible, they needed to take chances. For Sainted, who were last on AGT in 2020, this looked like taking Simon Cowell’s guidance for which song they should sing. In the end, they chose to go with Madonna’s Like a Prayer.

This Charlotte, North Carolina choir worked hard to make the song their own. Considering they are known for delivering breathtaking gospel pieces, even with songs that aren’t originally in that genre, this song couldn’t have been a better choice.
Sainted Elevate Madonna’s Like a Prayer for AGT Finale Performance
As soon as Sainted takes to the stage, their unbelievably beautifully harmonies fill the air. Folks in the audience can’t help but to stand and clap along.
“I actually feel I’m literally in heaven,” their mentor, Simon, shares. “Seriously, I have seen how hard this group has worked from day one.… I love everything about you.”
Although the other judges are hoping that someone on their own team will win the competition, they had to admit that Sainted blew them away. It’s clear that, in their eyes, this choir has what it takes to win.
“You take us to church,” Howie Mandel says. “I feel like we’re in church. This experience is spiritual and uplifting … You used the perfect word, Simon. This was heavenly.”
