There are two ways to handle failure: One is to move forward and accept defeat, while the other is to use the experience to grow stronger and, ultimately, prove the haters wrong.

Sally Skelton chose the latter.
Sally was a contestant on season six of “The Voice Australia” in 2017. Unfortunately, she was eliminated during the battle rival rounds, despite the judges agreeing that her performance with contestant Bojesse Pigram, was one of the best of all time.

This year, Sally went back for round two in the show’s seventh season. When she got on stage, all the judges were turned, so, of course, they had no idea the performer was someone they all knew well.

Choosing Selena Gomez’s “Wolves,” Sally was probably nervous about her second chance, but her voice didn’t show it.
As she sang, the camera cut to the judges and before he turned, Joe Jonas audibly remarked “wow.” It wasn’t long before he, Delta Goodrem, and Boy George all spun around. Sally got choked up but continued on until the last judge, Kelly Rowland, turned around – and was completely shocked.
Rowland was Sally’s coach during the last season of the competition and was visibly excited to see her girl back on stage.

Kelly made a plea to have Sally on her team again this season, especially after she saw how much she improved, the singer went with Joe Jonas as her coach, saying it would give her an opportunity to “start fresh with a clean slate.”
Sally’s dedication and determination were not lost on the audience or coaches during the blind auditions, and her fans felt the same.
