Sometimes, nature can be truly majestic. Other times, not so much! One wildlife photographer caught some absolutely hilarious footage of a sandhill crane’s clumsy moment. This slow-motion clip shows the bird slipping and sliding along the ground after a less-than-smooth landing. It’s pretty funny to see one of these usually elegant creatures looking so undignified!

In her video, Amber Favorite captured the sandhill crane as they came down from the sky and skidded to an ungraceful stop on the ground. As the bird’s legs slipped in two different directions, it almost looked like the creature was going to fall down. However, the animal thankfully regained their balance and stood back up as if nothing happened. What an excellent recovery!
“He’s gonna slide in head first, here he comes, he’s out!” joked Amber in her caption. “No, wait, safe-safe at second base, this kid really makes things happen out there.”
