If you’re a Star Wars fan, you already know the entire universe is at Disney World. Here’s a quick recap if you know nothing about the popular franchise. The Resistance are the good guys. The Empire are the bad guys. The soldier at the entrance is from the Empire. The child, Autumn, is in the Resistance and destined for epic battles. She might even grow up to be a Jedi Warrior.

The scene opens with Autumn and her mother passing through the entryway into Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The ride is part of the Star Wars collection of exhibits at Disney World. Autumn immediately challenges the Empire soldier, “Why you being rude?” Without missing a beat, he responds, “It’s because you’re the enemy. Now go”
The two exchange back-and-forth as the Mom and her daughter continue through the entryway.
“You’re rude.”
“You’re the enemy.”
“No, you’re rude. You’re the enemy! You’re rude!”
Several people are smiling as they pass the defiant little resistance fighter. Autumn proved her mettle by standing up to the Empire soldier. Yes, she was grasping her Mom’s arm for moral support. But, hey, she’s just a kid. Autumn is very secure in her support for the Resistance and confident when facing the enemy. However, she is about to face off against 50 Stormtroopers, so we hope she packed her lightsaber.
The immersive ride begins with patrons getting taken prisoner by the Empire. The Resistance quickly rescues them and shuttles them into transports that whisk them off under full-size AT-ATs. Laser fire is all around, but don’t worry, Stormtroopers never hit anything. Kylo Ren appears to help Autumn, the little warrior, and the two complete the rescue mission.
