That’s certainly been the case for a man named Wyatt Thompson. Although he doesn’t call Hawaii his home, he is a frequent traveler. And during a recent stay at the islands, he found himself making animal friends along his walks. But which encounter was the best? That remains to be seen. Despite getting pretty close to the sea turtles, not a single one of them seems to have a care in the world. Instead, they go about their day, still as can be while lounging in the muddy area. Concerned they’re not okay? No worries — Wyatt promises they were alright. When he called folks who could help, they assured him they were fine.

Sea turtles aren’t the only adorable creatures you can expect to see on your walks in Hawaii. In the video above, Wyatt can be seen coming across yet another sea creature — but this encounter took place on a beach!
