Many school classrooms have “class pets.” For Fulchersclasspets, the class seems to have two pets: a hamster, Lilo, and a lizard, Stitch. When the class put the school hamster into her exercise ball the other day, the little rascal made a break for it. The resulting video is going viral because it is hilarious.

Seeing an open door, school hamster Lilo took advantage of the situation, stretched her tiny legs, and ran through the halls. She rolled the clear hamster ball into the hall and took off like greased lightning! The best part is that the school security cameras caught her entire adventure. The cameras saw everything from the moment the tiny animal rolled across the hall.
The administrative staff patched the videos from several cameras together into one clip. That wasn’t enough, though. They added The William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini as background music. The tempo of the music pairs nicely with the school hamster’s adventure. You’ll recognize the tune immediately, even though you may never have known the name of the orchestral piece. Pure genius!
The energetic school hamster rolled down the hallway past four staff members. They looked down at her rolling along and just let her keep going. Lilo didn’t run into a large crowd until she passed the school office and entered the elementary wing. More staff members were giggling as the hamster rolled by.
We’re unsure if this happens often, but several staff members’ “I don’t see anything” reaction is puzzling. A student bent to pick up the hamster to end her adventure. We almost heard the Rawhide theme: “Rolling, rolling, rolling. Watch that hamster rolling. Li-Looooo!”
Please share if you enjoyed Lilo’s school tour.
