The world is changing so quickly it’s hard to keep up. Most people with a smartphone have everything they’ll ever need in the palm of their hands. Sure, it’s convenient and makes life much easier, but it can also be a tad overwhelming to think about how large a role technology plays in our lives. We’ve all seen the power of artificial intelligence, and it can be creepy. If that gives you the shivers, you don’t want to see the human-robot we found. OK, we didn’t really find it, Clone Robotics posted it on Instagram, and this sucker is wild. It looks so realistic that people have lots of questions.

Clone Robotics’ Human-Robot Can Move Its Legs Just Like Us
It’s incredible. They call this new technology Protoclone. It’s “the world’s first bipedal, musculoskeletal android. The Protoclone is a faceless, anatomically accurate, synthetic human with over 200 degrees of freedom, over 1,000 Myofibers, and 500 sensors.”
The video shows the human robot looking like it’s hanging while it moves its legs back and forth. We can’t help but think it’s kind of creepy, particularly with the music they chose. Plenty of Instagrammers agreed.
One wrote, “I don’t like this…I don’t like this at all.”
This person agreed, “This is so creepy, congrats.”
Another wondered what would come with a human robot and guessed it wouldn’t be that great. “I bet you’ll need to pay for a subscription. Otherwise, you’ll start accruing things like cyborg back pain – like Apple does with the iPhone batteries.”
“It’ll vacuum your floors, wash your dishes, and eliminate all humans while you sleep,” another person guessed.
This person made a creepy comparison, “Westworld was supposed to be a warning!”
We don’t know where this human robot plans to work, but we hope it’s not the cubicle next to us.
