Those who are dog owners know that one of the hardest things about being a dog owner is watching your fur baby get older. As they age, their energy levels decrease, and they aren’t able to do as much as they used to. One woman is not letting her senior dog’s age stop her. In this adorable video, a dog mom finds a creative way to include her senior pup in her weekly farmers market trips.

Senior Dog Says Age Is Just A Number

This 13-year-old dog and his mama often frequent the farmer’s market. However, as he got older, his mom noticed he couldn’t keep up like he used to. While she could have left him at home, she didn’t want to stop their special routine.

The video starts with the inventive dog mama setting up a wagon and gently placing her senior dog inside. He looks up and smiles at his mom as he realizes he still gets to go on a trip. Once he is secured and comfy, they head out with his four-legged sibling in tow! You can see his happy little ears gently flapping in the wind as his mom pulls him down the sunny street and closer to their destination.

Family Farmer’s Market Trip

The video then shows their day at the farmer’s market. Mom picks out fresh produce like strawberries and asparagus and lets her younger pup inspect the basket of goodies.

The older dog gets to taste a juicy, red strawberry. His happy little smile as he gently chews on the treat is heartwarming. Who wouldn’t like fresh fruit as they ride around in a chariot? Also, as if the strawberry wasn’t yummy enough, this pup gets to snack on a popsicle. Yum!

After all the fun festivities, the group heads home as a family. This adorable video comes from makenziecann’s Instagram page, which is filled with hundreds of videos and pics of the dogs’ favorite moments.
