Service Dog Has Adorable Reaction When The Zoomies Creep In But She Has To Follow Her “Rules”

Image shows a service dog in mid-zoomies, avoiding the urge to jump on her handler.

Service dogs can handle a great number of tasks depending on their training. Each dog may receive training based on their handler’s needs. But regardless of the amount of training, even a service dog can suffer an attack of the zoomies. When this happens, it is important that the service dog does not jump on its handler in its excitement.

Dakota Reynolds has a service dog in training. The exuberant golden knows she isn’t supposed to jump on people, so she does the next best thing. The zoomie pup jumps into the air next to her humans without making any contact. This, of course, is hilarious to watch. But it also shows that the dog takes her training seriously if she has that much control during zoomies!

We’re not sure what disabilities Dakota has or why he needs a service dog, and it doesn’t matter. What is important is that the dog assists him as required. We’ve seen some amazing service dogs who stop playing to alert even though they aren’t “on duty.”

Service dog training is grueling, and not all the dogs pass to become registered helpers. But that doesn’t mean the end of the road. Leo flunked out but is still a great help to his mom. Ryker is another service school failure who found a new job as a mascot and video star.

It is safe to say that Dakota’s service dog-in-training is well on her way to becoming an excellent service dog. They will continue to train and streamline their dog’s ability throughout its service life. We’re amazed how she controls her zoomies and doesn’t jump on her handler.

Please share if you enjoyed this service dog and her silly jump.
