We love Shaquille O’Neal. He’s just a giant teddy bear who never takes himself too seriously. Shaq is known for having a great sense of humor. And for as funny as he is, he is equally philanthropic. There is a lot to love about Shaq, and he can make even the funniest Hollywood comedians laugh out loud.

Eddie Murphy Shared His Love For Shaq With Kelly Clarkson
Eddie was on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and the pair discussed how much fun Shaq is. Kelly shared Shaq’s audition tape for Beverly Hills Cop, and it’s truly hilarious. Shaq stands in front of the camera for his screen test, pulls a banana out of his picket, and yells,
“Shaqxel Foley, Beverly Hills Cop, freeze!”
Off camera, the director says it’s “Axel, not Shaqxel,” but Shaq isn’t giving up and again calls him, “Shaqxel Foley.”
It’s a fun play on Eddie’s famous character. When the clip cuts back to Kelly and Eddie, they both remark about how great of a sport Shaq is.
“He is so nice. Thank you for doing that, bro. I really appreciate it,” Eddie says.
Apparently, he attended a charity event with Kelly a while back and came out singing his rendition of
Since U Been Gone. Kelly joked that Shaq was singing his own tune, but everyone loved it.
The pair laughed and agreed that no matter what the challenge, Shaq is always “game.” They agreed that he is an amazing person and that they both love to work with him.
Fans loved the clip and shared their kind words on Instagram.
Someone wrote, “Shaq is amazing, absolutely true. Love you both Kelly and Ed Murphy!”
This person agreed, “I love both Shaq and Eddie Murphy! They’re awesome!”
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is now streaming on Netflix.
