Could there be anything more heartwarming than seeing these shelter dogs finally get adopted by their forever families? One shelter worker caught the most beautiful footage of these lucky rescue pups reacting to the happy news. Some of them looked so excited, they didn’t know what to do with themselves! In this precious clip, the shelter worker approached several different dogs to let them know they were about to be adopted. As he walked up to their cages, he brandished an orange card that read, “Adopted! Please Hold.” Each pooch started wagging their tail wildly as soon as they heard the enthusiasm in the human’s voice.
“This one’s for you,” the man explained to a pup named Harvey. “You’re on hold to be adopted, sweetie! You got yourself a forever family! They’re going to be here tomorrow and then they’re going to take you home and then that’s it!”
We’re not sure if this shelter dog actually understood that he was about to be adopted, but it was clear from his body language that he knew something exciting was going on.
Next, the shelter worker approached a tiny little fluffball who started running around their enclosure when they got the news. This pup’s happiness was so contagious that another dog in a nearby cage started barking and wagging their tail, too! A couple of people in the comments section joked that the small dog had rushed over to tell their friend what happened.
Hands down, this dog had the best response to being adopted.
One of the best reactions ever came from a pooch named Bowman. When the shelter worker showed him the adoption card, this animal started jumping up and down! He definitely couldn’t wait to be with his new family.
