Simone Biles has been making headlines these past couple of weeks as she dominates the Paris Olympic games. She is leaving Paris with four medals, three of which were gold and one silver. These four medals bring her total collection to 11 medals, the most of any American gymnast. While we don’t know if we will be seeing her at future Olympic games, we do know that she has other big plans in the future.

Is Simone Biles Going To Be A Mom?
In an interview with The Today Show, Simone Biles covered topics from self-care to cheering on her teammates to her future goals. However, one question that had everyone’s ears perking up was when Hoda Kotb asked Simone about her plans for children. “Do you think about that phase of your life?” Hoda asked.
Simone smiled and replied, “Yes. Me and Jonathan always talk about kids. He would have had them yesterday….we both have goals we have before we start a family.” Hoda broached this subject after asking Simone about who helped get her to this point in her life.
She phrased the question as a fill-in-the-blank, asking, “If not for _______, I wouldn’t be here today.” To which Biles filled in, “If not for my parents and adoption, I would not be here today.”
From there, Hoda asked if she ever considered adoption and/or having kids. Biles acknowledged that she wants children of her own.
Simone Biles And Future Olympics
With Simone Biles talking about kids, it is easy to assume that the gymnast may not be present at the next Olympic games. Hoda asked Biles, “Are we saying goodbye?” Simone smiled and responded, “Never say never.” The gymnast continued, “You know the next Olympics is on home turf, so never say never.”
While Simone Biles may be thinking of kids, it is also clear that she may not be quite done with her Olympic dreams just yet. However, if this is her last run, she told The Today Show that she just wants to be remembered as “someone who loved the sport, had fun doing it, and was authentically herself.”
