Wish you could have your very own cute lamb? In Ireland, there’s an attraction that gives visitors the chance to hold these precious creatures. But, if you don’t plan on being anywhere close to Ireland anytime soon, I have a pretty good alternative to offer: Simon. This tiny lamb lives on a farm, but you can find lots of adorable videos of him online.

According to his owner, Simon is a Greyface Dartmoor (a rare breed, it turns out). And while his owners love all of the animals on their hobby farm, he’s the one garnering the most attention on social media. The simple yet adorable video below makes it easy to understand why that’s the case!

“Not to be dramatic but I would die for him,” someone shares in reply to that sweet video, with another person adding, “I want him as a plush immediately.”

Considering Simon’s backstory, it feels poetic for him to be getting so much attention. When he was born, both his sibling and mom didn’t make it. Then, when the farmers tried to get one of the other lambs to accept him, they simply wouldn’t. Luckily, a different kind of creature was more than happy to welcome him with open paws.

“This is a children’s book in the making,” someone points out, with another adding, “You’re telling me the cutest creature to ever exist was rejected? I’m using this as a therapist to tell my clients parental rejection has nothing to do with them.”

“Raised a pet lamb in the house due to a really bad winter and she literally grew up thinking she was a dog,” a third person shares of their own story. “She used to play fetch and chill on the sofa watching TV.”
