We’re only three days into the Paris Olympics, and Simone Biles has already blown us away with her unparalleled talent. With seven Olympic medals already under her belt at 27 years old, this year is sure to be yet another historic one. This can be seen in her performance on Sunday. This is when the gymnastics qualifiers took place. As expected, she nailed both her vault and floor routines. But there’s one moment in particular that fans can’t stop talking about.

This moment took place during her vault routine. During it, Biles chose to try a move called the Yurchenko double pike. This move is considered by many to be the most difficult vault in women’s gymnastics. In fact, Biles became the first women to pull this move off in an international competition in 2023.
