Most halftime shows involve multiple performers, dance routines, and special effects, but musician Marcin Patrzalek was able to captivate the crowd with a single guitar. This incredibly talented young man delivered a medley of songs on his instrument which brought the audience to wild cheers. Although the performance took place at a Phoenix Suns game from last holiday season, the musician just recently uploaded the video on YouTube. “Live & uncut,” wrote Marcin Patrzalek in his caption. “I had this since the New Year so I thought I’d finally share it. Thanks to Phoenix Suns for having me!”
Many commenters were mesmerized by the stunning performance. In fact, many joked that Marcin Patrzalek’s halftime show was more entertaining than the actual game by far!
“Bro that’s so cool they played a basketball game at your show,” wrote one user.
“The fact they rented a whole stadium and hired TWO entire basketball teams just as an addition to your performance is crazy!” added another.
Marcin Patrzalek’s AGT Run
This wouldn’t be the first time Polish guitarist Marcin Patrzalek has astonished audiences with his skills. Years before the Phoenix Suns halftime show, the musician appeared on America’s Got Talent. At the time, he was only 18, but his playing brought even the judges to their feet!
Marcin Patrzalek has released a number of incredible instrumental covers of famous songs on YouTube and various streaming platforms. The range of sounds that he’s able to produce with a single instrument is truly impressive! He also combines a variety of techniques and influences in his work. For example, he claims that his rendition of “Habanera” from Carmen is “more reminiscent of flamenco and metal guitar legends than any expected opera sound.”
What an amazing talent this young man has!
