It seems like everywhere we look, there is ice and snow and cold. There’s even snow on the beaches in parts of Florida. As long as we’ve all got snowballs on our minds, Sonic decided to get in on the frozen fun. Well, maybe it’s just a coincidence this is all happening at the same time, but plenty of people are here for it. Ahead of Valentine’s Day, a time of romance and strawberry-flavored goodness, Sonic plans to reintroduce its Strawberry Shortcake Snowball Slush Float. Instagrammer Markie Devo shared all the decision deets On January 21. The float is just one group of Flavorista Favorites available in the Sonic App.

Markie explained, “Sonic said hold up, we’ve got something for sweet love making season also. Sonic brought back the Strawberry Shortcake Snowball Slush Float. The float features a blend of real strawberries and a sweet shortcake flavor all swirled into SONIC’s signature icy Slush. The Slush is then topped with vanilla ice cream and sugary crystals.”
This person cannot wait, “Omg thank you Jesus. This was my biggest craving while pregnant 2023 and being pregnant again this is all I’ve been thinking about!!!”
According to a news release from Sonic, the Flavorista Favorites menu is an app exclusive and The Strawberry Shortcake Snowball Slush Float will kickoff it’s comeback as part of the X Games Aspen 2025 on January 23. It will be available nationwide on January 27.
“The X Games embody the spirit of living free and making each day more fun – just as our drinks do – which makes X Games Aspen the perfect setting to bring back the Strawberry Shortcake Snowball Slush Float,” said Mackenzie Gibson, Vice President of Culinary & Menu Innovation at SONIC. “From the icy texture of the Slush to the snowball-inspired vanilla soft serve and crunchy sugar topping that’s like ice crystals, this creation is everything our guests love about snow in a sweet, colorful, sippable format!”
