Starbucks Menu

Spring is on the horizon, and that means a new start for many people. The weather is getting warmer, the world looks greener, and the sun in the sky just makes us happy. Starbucks is ready for the change of season and has overhauled its menu. The coffee giant will eliminate 13 of its lesser-selling drinks and stop selling a variety of hot and cold drinks in an effort to elevate the customer experience.

In a statement shared with Today, Starbucks explained the menu changes.

“As part of our plan to get back to Starbucks, we’re simplifying our menu to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence,” Starbucks shared. “This will make way for innovation, help reduce wait times, improve quality and consistency, and align with our core identity as a coffee company.”

More Menu Changes Will Hit Starbucks By Fall

According to Today, Starbucks plans to eliminate 30% of its U.S. menu by the end of its fiscal year. The menu items that are leaving now are either unpopular or can be difficult to make.

The discontinued items include Iced Matcha Lemonade, Espresso Frappuccino, Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino, White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino, and Java Chip Frappuccino. The Chai Crème Frappuccino, Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème Frappuccino, Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino, Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino and White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino, White Hot Chocolate, Royal English Breakfast Latte, and the Honey Almond milk Flat White were also chopped.

The news of menu changes upset many Starbucks fans, who commented on an Instagram post from @mouthattack expressing their dismay.

One wrote, “Not my ribbon crunch frap more like they never have supplies there I go as a customer taking my business elsewhere.”

This person agreed, “Woah I barely ever drank Starbucks but you’re removing the one drink I drank smh.”

This person made an interesting point: “If your drink is on this list, you don’t like coffee, you like sugar.”
