Starbucks is heating up this spring with something you might not expect. The coffee giant recently shared they’d be eliminating 13 less popular items from their menu, but it looks like they’re adding something as well.

Beginning March 4, Starbucks customers can add hot sauce to their orders via a new collaboration with Truff. The hot sauce company teased something new on March 3, but Starbucks officially made the announcement the following day. Truff shared in a post on Instagram, “TRUFF PACKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE WITH YOUR @STARBUCKS BREAKFAST!”
The Collaboration Will Allow Starbucks Fans To Turn Up The Heat
The collab sounds so darn decision, “Enjoy the rich taste of truffle with a perfect kick of heat in every bite. Head to your participating Starbucks store.”
Truff explained on Instagram, “TRUFF Original Hot Sauce and Jalapeño Lime Hot Sauce packets are now available for free with your Starbucks qualifying hot breakfast item, upon request. From egg sandwiches to breakfast wraps, TRUFF brings an extra layer of bold, spicy flavor to compliment your delicious Starbucks favorites. Together, TRUFF and Starbucks are here to elevate your morning routine into a crave-worthy experience.”
The collaboration is only for a limited time. And customers will receive one packet per qualifying hot sandwich in or pocket. The promotion will run from March 4, 2025, to April 1, 2025, or while supplies last.
The news came as a pleasant surprise to customers. One wrote, “Literally the best news EVER!! Egg white bites just got better!”
This person agreed, “You could tell me U-Haul moving boxes are now being served with a packet of truff, and I’d eat ’em.”
This customer can’t wait to try the new Starbucks and Truff collaboration. “I know a bacon and Gruyère egg bite hates to see me coming for it with my OG TRUFF.”
Neither can this one, “Omw to get a double smoked bacon cheddar egg sandwich.”
